Gary ParkerManagement Consultant
Gary is a London based management consultant with over 20 years experience in the private, community and public sectors; with significant achievements in consultancy, training, fundraising/income generation and community regeneration.
Currently Managing Director of CNT Associates, a London based training & consultancy organisation. He regularly writes, trains and develops funding applications for private sector companies, social enterprises, health trusts, colleges and universities, housing associations, community organisations and local authorities
He was previously a visiting lecturer/ research associate at the University of Central Lancashire in Community Regeneration and Health, in the Health & Ethnicity Unit.
Other Roles include:Board Member: Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust & Swan FoundationChair: Future Communities – a Bexley based community engagement organisation.
Gary has been involved in the founding, running and management of a range of businesses, including, companies involved in training, event management, management consultancy, nutrition and well-being, fashion retail, education, community transport, regeneration and business support sectors. He is currently working on a digital technology project.
Annabel KayeSpecialist HR & Employment law consultancy
Annabel Kaye founded Irenicon (a specialist HR and employment law consultancy) in 1980, and KoffeeKlatch in 2009, specifically to support organisations which outsource to freelancers. She has helped thousands of business people work out how to contract and manage the people they pay in a way that is appropriate for their business.
She is a professional speaker and she is well known for combining common sense and humour when tackling compliance and legal subjects.
Annabel is an experienced virtual speaker, with many years of experience in making virtual teams work without failing over compliance problems. Helen specialises in teaching others her social media skills, and especially likes to help local independent businesses with their social, whether it be with a 1:1 program, or inhouse training or participating in one of her workshops (which are being developed to be online very soon). Joy DouglasSolicitor-Advocate - private practice & public sector
Joy Akah-Douglas is a Solicitor-Advocate with over 15 years’ experience both in private practice and the public sector. She currently proffers expert legal advice on Commercial, Property Law and Dispute Resolution.
In her spare time Ms Douglas is an ardent traveller who immerses herself in the culture of others and enjoys stealing their best cuisine. However, when back at home Ms Douglas can be found at live performances of her favourite musicians.
ExpertiseAs an accredited Mediator, Joy has established a wealth of experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) matters and currently proffers expert legal advice on Landlord & Tenant Law (Both Commercial & Residential); Leasehold Enfranchisement, Commercial Law; Contract and Company Law matters; Private Client and the general law on Property.
She has also contributed written articles to legal journals and property publications. Joy Akah-Douglas is a Solicitor-Advocate with over 15 years’ experience both in private practice and the public sector.
Joy formerly practised as an In House Barrister, in the City, specialising in Commercial and Civil litigation and is now a regular speaker and trainer at property professional events. She has also contributed written articles to legal journals and property publications.
