Learn about Beckenham BID proposals at networking meeting

Local businesses are invited to come and find out about the Business Improvement District (BID) plans for Beckenham at the next Beckenham Business Association meeting on Tuesday 12 April, 7.30am at the Slug & Lettuce in Beckenham High Street.

The BID Consultants will be at the meeting to talk about the BID Feasibility Study. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered and find out about what a BID means for Beckenham businesses.

New Beckenham Town Centre Manager Lorraine McQuillan will also be present.

What is a BID?

A Business Improvement District is a way for businesses in a defined area to decide what they need to deliver to help their business to thrive.

If accepted by the business community, a BID business plan is written that will include these suggestions and local businesses will have a chance to vote for the plan. There has to be a majority in favour for the plan to go ahead.

Come along to the meeting on Tuesday to find out more. BOOK HERE.

Open networking over light refreshments

As well as hearing from the speakers, there will be opportunity to network over coffee and breakfast refreshments. The meeting is free if you’re a first time visitor or a member of the Beckenham Business Association. Otherwise it costs just £10.00, including refreshments.
